A contemporary Slovak painter from Vranov nad Topľou in the Zemplín region: from realist beginnings in the 1990s he moved to landscape oils and later to a freer, symbolic register of Slovak modernism — with cycles on the eternity of life, faith and freedom, and a growing emphasis on the composition of colours and forms. His works are regularly offered by Slovak auction houses; In Front of the House in our collection represents his landscape-genre face.
