View of a Historic Town — a bend in a paved street between low houses, a white gable with a shingled roof and a tree on the right, and a tower with an onion dome in the distance. The paint is laid on in thick, broad strokes; among the muted greys, browns and whites a single saturated orange house stands out, with two small figures on the street.
The work is signed at the lower right, but the signature could not be read, and so it is held in the collection under an unidentified artist.
