A private art collecting company

We invest in art

We are building a collection of European fine art and selected antiques — from the classics of 20th-century Slovak painting to older works by European masters — with an emphasis on provenance, quality and lasting value.

Spanish Hunting Arquebus

Over two centuries of history — from the era of King Charles III of Spain

Spanish Hunting Arquebus — Salvador de Zenarro

wood, steel, gold, ivory — forged, carved, chiselled, engraved · length 128 cm (128 × 6 × 8.5 cm) · Salvador de Zenarro, documented 1761–1793, Madrid

A Spanish hunting arquebus with a Madrid-pattern miquelet lock from the workshop of royal arquebusier Salvador de Zenarro, made in Madrid between 1761 and 1793 — the work of a master who served King Charles III of Spain directly. The 128 cm long weapon is signed in three places, with gold-plated marks; the two-stage forged iron barrel bears three gold-plated stamps and a countermark, the engraved and silvered lock carries foliate decoration, the Spanish-style carved stock is restrained, and the ramrod is finished with a carved ivory pommel. An 18th-century weapon with certificate and expert documentation, uniting noble materials — iron, gold, ivory, wood — with a direct link to the Spanish royal court.

About us

Value immune to market moods

We are a private collecting company founded by people from different professions outside the art world. What unites us is the conviction that a painting is more than a store of value — it is the memory of places and stories, the work of hands that created before us.

That is why we do more than buy works of art — we preserve the legacy of those who came before us: caring for the works, documenting their histories and passing them on to future generations in better condition than we found them.

Fine art and antiques are among the oldest forms of preserving wealth. A quality work with documented provenance carries its value within itself — independently of the swings of financial markets. Our task is to seek out such works, examine them expertly, acquire them at a fair price and care for them over the long term.

The core of the collection is 20th-century Slovak and Central European painting. We are gradually expanding it with older works by European masters and selected antiques.

Our approach

Our approach

Three principles guiding every acquisition.

Expertise and due diligence

Before purchase, every work undergoes verification of authorship, provenance and condition. We buy from reputable auction houses and galleries, with full documentation.

A long-term horizon

We buy art with a horizon of years, not seasons. The collection is built deliberately, around artists with a firm place in art history and a stable market.

Discretion and care

Acquisitions and any sales are handled discreetly. The works are kept in appropriate conditions, insured and professionally maintained.
